Is your product easy to install?

YES. Our product is extremely easy to install. The 1m lengths are easy to handle and can be easily installed by one person within minutes. All you require is a drill and appropriate fasteners for your application.

Is your product made in Australia?

It sure is.  Our product is proudly designed and manufactured in Australia.

Can you manufacture different lengths and colours?

We sure can. We have developed our 1m lengths so we can freight our product economically throughout Australia, but we are more than happy to custom make and cut different lengths to suit your application.

Is your product legal to install?

Yes. Bull Defence anti climb spikes are legal to install. As different states have different rules and regulations is always best to check with your local council prior to installation.

BUILDING REGULATIONS 2018 (SR NO 38 OF 2018) - REG 93

 

EXTRACT - REG 93

93 Fences must not include barbed wire
(1) A fence adjacent to a street alignment or public
open space must not contain barbed wire or other
sharp protrusions unless—
(a) despite regulation 90(1), the fence is set back
at least 150 mm from the street alignment or
boundary of the public open space; or
(b) the barbed wire or other sharp protrusion is
at a height of at least 2 m above the level of
the street or public open space; or
(c) the fence is on an allotment that has an area
of 2000 m2 or more and is used principally
for raising livestock.

 

According to Victorian building regulations....

If your fence faces a public street or open space, make sure it’s either:

  • The fence should be set back at least 150mm from the boundary, or
  • At least 2 meters in height

Do I need a licensed installer in Victoria?

For residential properties in Victoria, you generally do not need a licensed installer to add anti climb fence spikes, as long as its not part of an integrated electronic or high-security system.

However, you do need to ensure that:
The fence complies with local building regulations.
The spikes are safely and securely installed, posing no undue risk to the public.
You're not breaching any council planning overlays.

Does your anti climb spikes come with warning stickers?

Yes they do. You can also purchase larger warning signs to make intruders aware.

I have a shared fence, can I install Bull Defence along my neighbours boundary?

Yes you can, as long as you have written consent from your neighbour.

How do you send your product throughout Australia?

All our products are safely packed and sent via Australia Post.

How long does it take to receive my goods?

Depending on your location, generally allow 2-5 working days to receive your goods.
